Job Purpose

The Project Leader will be a key player in the department responsible for managing referential data across customers, partners, and employees. This role is central to ensuring that IT projects are executed efficiently and effectively within the IS Common Assets & Referentials team, supporting corporate systems like MyAG, AML, CAP2, GDPR, and others. The candidate will lead medium to large projects, ensuring alignment between IT and business objectives, and driving the delivery of robust IT applications and services.

Your main responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, including requirements gathering, setting priorities, risk management, and coordination among various teams.
  • Act as a liaison between IT architects, designers, testers, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication tailored to the audience.
  • Ensure that the functional and technical designs meet AG standards, initially with the guidance of senior team members.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with business units to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinate and follow up on Acceptance Testing, ensuring that all test scenarios are executed successfully.
  • Regularly update management on project progress, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.

Your competencies

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in conceptual analysis, particularly in the creation of schemas and graphs to support decision-making.
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Office tools, SQL for data querying, and documenting IT processes.
  • Understanding of insurance/finance processes and experience in functional analysis.
  • Fluency in English; good understanding of Dutch and French is preferable.
